Gas savers are planet savers and money savers. It's all good!
Keep your car clean! Extra weight in your car makes it more expensive to run. And please, recycle the half-drunk water pbottles that accumulate in the passenger seat. A clean car, like a clean house, represents a clear mind.
Carpool. It more fun and its a gas saver.
Use public transportation, walk or bike when possible. If you must drive, multitask and make the trip worth it.
When your car acts up, especially if it is rush hour.... get over to the shoulder as soon as possible and don't kid yourself that it will go away if you keep driving. Whip out your AAA car or whatever and call for help. Do NOT let yourself break down in a lane and be THE ONE Who causes a traffic jam. Traffic jams are sources of huge pollutions, wasted gas and flared tempers --- all of it not good for the environment or your ownpersonal stress-level.
